Day 3

Today we are on Louisville, KY. This morning I was spent entirely on the bus. No floor time for us today. I slept from about 12 until 5 when we stopped at a rest stop. It was outside of Cincinnati. I remember waking up just in time to see the Bengals stadium.

Once we got to Louisville we waited for about 45 mins to get instructions. I fell asleep. Then I had some pancakes for breakfast and discovered that I had wifi on our bus. I skyped with my brother and mom for about 10 minutes.

Then it was time for the day. We were at the University of Louisville's stadium. It was pretty cool. Nothing compared to beaver stadium, but pretty cool.




I stretched with the corps and talked to some new people o haven't met. Everyone is so nice here.

After stretching, everyone did basics and such that I wasn't need for. So I wandered around the stadium and took some pictures.



















I took a lot of pictures today. The next few are from the very top of the stadium.

Today the whole Percussion section had a sectional to work out the drum break/solo/madness. I was running the met and I messed up. Now that I look back, I can't even remember what I did wrong. But I stopped everything and they had to start the rep over again. Luckily, it was only about 1 or 2 bars into it, so nobody was really mad at me. Ensemble went off without any hitches on my part. Thank the Lord.


I love getting free shows from the Cadets nightly :)







For dinner we had Gerneral Tso's Chicken. Let me say that again so it can sink in.

WE HAD GENERAL TSO'S CHICKEN. I love this place. Everyone is so nice, I'm doing what I love, and the feed me Gerneal Tso's Chicken. AND FREEZE POPS! I almost forgot about the freeze pops. Yes, overall today was a good day. Except for when I messed up, but tomorrow is another day. Day 4 to be exact. And you can count I'm going to do my best!
