We warmed up and performed a noon time concert for some staff from Yamaha and some local fans.
The stand still performance went well. We ate a boxed lunch courtesy of Yamaha and then went to the BEACH!
It took us an hour to reach the beach. Hop gave us some quick words about not drinking and then left us loose.
I walked to the pier and met up with Lori. We talked for about 15 minutes and then decided to go to her house and relax for a bit and then grab some food. We drove around her town of Long Beach and I had some flashbacks to when I was there last. We got home and I put my feet up and charged my phone and computer. We talked for a while and then decided to go look for somewhere to eat.
Travis (Lori's son) called her and said that he was working at his part time job at a restaurant called Legends. I had a BBQ Burger and fries and we split some wings. The wings were gooood. I talked to Travis for a few minutes and then he had to get back to work.
Mid-way through our dinner a man came up to me, shook my hand, and then offered to pay for our dinner if we could kindly move to a different table so he could have a bachelor party with his friends. We told him that he didn't have to pay but we would move. He wouldn't let us go without giving us $20. I like California. People are really nice.
So after we were done eating we drove back up to Huntington Beach where Lori left me off to go back to my world of busses, metronomes, and music.
Thanks Lori for showing me a great time in Long Beach!
On the bus now. Driver says we are going to get in around 4.
I think I may sleep on the floor tonight. We'll see. Goodnight everyone!
